Filing Claim Assistance

If you need assistance to file your claim there are several different sources that you can turn to. They include Accredited Professionals (Attorneys & VSO), Private Organizations, and States Resources.

Some of these sources provide the service for free while others charge a fee that are either paid up front or taken out when you win your case. For those who charge a fee this can range from 10 to 30 percent of the back pay you earn when you win your case.

NOTE: VA regulations prevent representatives from receiving compensation on new disability claims filed for the first time. If any organization agree to help you with your initial filing, they should not charge you a fee. Verify this with the organization before utilizing their service.
However, it is highly recommended that utilize a professional service if you wish to appeal your case.
