Yes. A disabled veteran whose vehicle is partly or fully paid for by the VA is exempt.
Active Pay Exemption:
No. Active military pay is not tax exempt. However, military allowances paid to active-duty military, National Guard, and active reserves for quarters, subsistence, uniforms, and travel is exempt. Also, compensation received from the United States for active service as a member of the Armed Forces in a combat zone designated by the President of the United States is exempt.
Retired Pay Tax Exemption:
Yes. Military retirement pay is exempt from state taxes.
State Parks [Free or Reduced]:
Offers free access to resident veterans and active service members. Non-resident veterans and active service members are offered free access on state and federal holidays.
Hunting & Fishing [Free or Reduced]:
Disabled veterans are offered reduced fees.
Scholarships/Tuition Assistance:
This benefit is offered to veterans and their spouses.
Hiring Preferences:
Hiring preference offered to both veterans and their family members.
Disabled Veteran License Plate:
You can get the Disabled Veteran License Plate with a 50% or more disability.
